Are You Making This Mistake With Concealer?

Ok time for another quick but life changing makeup tip! (dramatic but w/e- learn all about my favorite makeup tricks in the Ask Abbey Podcast Episode #4).

If you’ve ever tried to wear a a full face of makeup minus the eyeshadow & felt like something looked off… I have a secret for you. Apply concealer to your eyelids!

Sounds weird, right? But it is so necessary. If you’re color correcting your entire face with foundation & concealer but skipping your eyelids, then you’re asking for attention to be drawn to your eyelids! You’ll be able to notice any discoloration, dark shadows and/or veins super easily because of the stark contrast between your lids and the rest of your face! Also, this is the easiest trick to make yourself look more awake.

How to fix this & look cute af without eyeshadow:

It’s so easy. When you’re applying your concealer underneath your eyes, blend it up & all over your eyelids too (stop just underneath your brow)! I love to use a damp Real Techniques sponge for this. Then make sure to set that concealer with a powder so it doesn’t crease or create mascara smudges. Then you’re good to go and set for the day!

Easy right?! Right. Go run & try it & send me your selfies ASAP.

Can’t wait for more health, fitness & beauty content? I got you:
