5 Insanely Tasty & Healthy Date Bite Recipes

Are you one of those people that finishes dinner and immediately opens the cupboard for “just a bite of something sweet”? SAME. This is the perfect recipe for us. Date bites are easy to make, tasty af and the best part: they’re dairy free, gluten free & refined sugar free! Yes, yes and yes. This isn’t one of those blogs that’s going to make you read a 12 paragraph novel before I actually give you the recipes, so let’s just get straight to it.

How to Make Date Bites

All you do is throw the ingredients for each recipe into a food processor or blender & pulse/blend for a few seconds. The consistency will be a little bit different for each recipe (some will be wetter than others if they have fresh fruit in them bc water). After you blend, take the mixture from the blender and roll it into bite sized balls. Easy as that!

Each of these recipes makes 6-8 date bites.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Hazelnut

  • 1/2 cup Dates
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter (or nut butter of choice)
  • 3 tbsp Cacao Powder
  • 1.5 tbsp Water

Caramel Pretzel

(There is no caramel or pretzels in this recipe but somehow this combo tastes exactly like that it’s magic)

  • 1/2 cup Dates
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Maca Powder

Coconut Lemon Walnut

  • 1/2 cup Dates
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Flakes

Raspberry Lemon Vanilla

  • 1/2 cup Dates
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Raspberries
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Raspberry Cacao

  • 1/2 cup Dates
  • 1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Raspberries
  • 3 tbsp Cacao
