Which of These 10 Concealers Is Best For You?

concealer review, best concealers, urban decay naked skin concealer, mac pro longwear concealer, colourpop no filter concealer, morphe fluidity full coverage concealer, magic star concealer, tarte shape tape, nars radiant creamy concealer, maybelline age rewind concealer, too faced born this way concealer, maybelline fit me concealer

Finding the perfect concealer for your skin can be tricky. I’ve always resorted to YouTube to watch reviews of concealers to get an idea of what I might like. But sometimes a concealer that a YouTuber swears by doesn’t work the best for me! I’m sure you’ve experienced that too- so frustrating. That’s because everyone has unique skin needs. For reference: I look for concealers that cover my dark circles, last for hours, don’t exaggerate fine lines/creases, and look as skin-like as possible. Easy, right? Lol.

To make this selection process easier for you, I’m going rate some of the most hyped concealers out there on a scale of 1-5 for those attributes that I look for. That way you can decide based on what matters to you most!

Morphe Fluidity Full Coverage Concealer– $9

  • Coverage: 5/5
  • Staying Power: 5/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 5/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 5/5

Overall Thoughts: This concealer is amazing. It’s somehow lightweight and full coverage at the same time. BUT it has a sliiiight paint smell. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a must.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer– $29

  • Coverage: 4/5
  • Staying Power: 4.5/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 5/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 5/5

Overall Thoughts: Perfect for those of you looking for a hydrating, light weight concealer that doesn’t look too heavy on the skin or settle into fine lines.

Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer– $29

  • Coverage: 5/5
  • Staying Power: 5/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 3/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 4.5/5

Overall Thoughts: This can look absolutely flawless, but can also easily look too cakey & creasy. I apply a very small amount & immediately set with powder to prevent that from happening. When I apply it that way, I’m obsessed!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer– $27

  • Coverage: 5/5
  • Staying Power: 5/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 3/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 3.5/5

Overall Thoughts: This is considered by manyyyy people on YouTube to be the best concealer of all time but… it was not for me. Way too heavy looking for my preference & exaggerated fine lines.

Magic Star Concealer– $22

  • Coverage: 4.5/5
  • Staying Power: 4.5/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 4/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 4.5/5

Overall Thoughts: This is a new release, so I have only been testing out this concealer for a couple weeks & my ratings are definitely subject to change. But so far, I think it’s great!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer– $30

  • Coverage: 4/5
  • Staying Power: 4.5/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 4.5/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 4.5/5

Overall Thoughts: The finish was definitely nice (I love the radiant vibes), but I ran out of product way too quickly compared to other concealers.

ColourPop No Filter Concealer– $6.50

  • Coverage: 4/5
  • Staying Power: 4.5/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 3.5/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 3.5/5

Overall Thoughts: It’s not my favorite, but because it’s so inexpensive I’m not super mad about it. It oxidized quite a bit on me & definitely settled into fine lines. But if you prefer a matte finish, you might really like this!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer– $9.99

  • Coverage: 3.5/5
  • Staying Power: 4/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 4/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 3.5/5

Overall Thoughts: I haven’t used this in a couple years because it stung the crap out of my skin. If that doesn’t happen to you, it’s not a bad drugstore option!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer– $6.49

  • Coverage: 3.5/5
  • Staying Power: 4/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 4/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 4/5

Overall Thoughts: If you are deciding between this & the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind, go for this.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer– $24

  • Coverage: 5/5
  • Staying Power: 5/5
  • Anti-Creasing: 4/5
  • Skin-Like Finish: 4/5

Overall Thoughts: This concealer is fuuuuuull coverage. It’s too thick for my personal preference, but if covering discoloration, acne scars & hyper-pigmentation is your main concern, you’d probably love!
